Bio
Dr. Wolf is originally from Southern California. He attended Tulane University and earned his Medical Degree and Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering in 1993. He completed his Neurosurgical Residency at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center and moved to Lake Charles to practice Neurosurgery in 2000. He is a Board Certified member of the American College of Surgeons and a member of the American Academy of Neurological Surgeons. Dr. Wolf founded the Center for Neurosurgical and Spinal Disorders in 2002. Since then it has grown to become the leading Neurosurgical practice in Southwest Louisiana. He has a team of nurse practitioners that assist in patient care: Tara Barnes and Kasie Nix both provide conservative treatment in the office setting.
Dr. Wolf’s additional interest includes biotechnology and biomedical engineering. He currently serves as the founder and chair of several high-tech start-up companies. He holds multiple U.S. patents and acts as a consultant for several medical device manufacturers.
