Bio

Craig G. Morton, M.D., is originally from Lake Charles, Louisiana and earned his Bachelor of Science degree from McNeese State University. He received his Medical Degree from Louisiana State University Health Science Center in Shreveport, and completed a residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at the University of Alabama in Birmingham, where he served as chief resident.

Dr. Morton’s primary focus is the non-surgical management and treatment of neck and low back pain, with an emphasis on restoring pain-free function to patients. Dr. Morton is board certified by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. He is a member of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Spine Intervention Society, North American Spine Society, and American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians. Dr. Morton developed the nation’s first home exercise DVD program for low back pain, and is actively involved in the research and development of educational and treatment solutions for musculoskeletal pain. Dr. Morton joined the Center for Orthopaedics in 2007.
